STANDARD CLAY BATH FORMULA

A simple clay bath formula to dispel toxins and leave the skin feeling relaxed, smooth and hydrated.

  1. Mix 1-2 cups of New Zealand Glacial Clay mix with 8 cups of warm water, creating a slurry.
  2. Fill the bath to a temperature comfortable to you.
  3. While the bath is filling, add the New Zealand Glacial Clay slurry and essential oils.
  4. Continue to mix the bath contents while it fills, removing any lumps created with the clay.
  5. Before entering the bath, shower to remove any excess bacteria or toxins from the skin.
  6. Soak in the bath for 20 minutes with as much of your body submerged as possible.
  7. At the end of the bath, rinse off any clay residue in a warm shower
  8. Pat dry and moisturize the skin well.

STANDARD FACE MASK FORMULA

An easy-to-make face mask to unclog and shrink the pores and leave the skin clean and blemish free.

  1. Use our New Zealand Glacial Clay powder. Combine 1 tablespoon of powder with approximately 1 tablespoon of water, do not mix. Milk can be added instead of water, for an added gentle exfoliation. Allow the water to absorb the clay without handling for at least 4 hours. Then gently move the clay around with a small wooden spatula, until the clay has the consistency of a smooth silky paste. Add a little more water if necessary.
  2. Add ½ tsp of a chosen carrier oil, and 3-4 drops of essential oil or honey.
  3. Using the New Zealand Glacial Clay brush, apply the face mask using circular movements, avoiding the eye area.
  4. To keep the masque soft and comfortable during the drying process, apply the Glacial Mist Spritzer. Reapply multiple times during the drying time of 5-8 minutes.
  5. Remove the masque using a warm damp facecloth, and gently pat dry.
  6. Now apply the Glacial Mist followed by your chosen moisturizer.

OILY SKIN FACE MASK FORMULA

A variation of the standard face mask formula, specifically designed for users with oily or acne-prone skin.

  1. Use our dry New Zealand Glacial Clay powder, combine 1 tablespoon of powder with 1 tablespoon of water, do not mix. Milk can be added instead of water for an added gentle exfoliation. Allow the water to absorb the Clay without handling for at least 4 hours. Then gently move the clay around with a small wooden spatula, until the Clay has a consistency of a smooth silky paste. Add a little more water if necessary.
  2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of Jojoba Oil and 2-3 drops of Lemon Essential Oil.
  3. Apply the mask with the NZ Glacial Clay Brush using circular movements, avoiding the eye area.
  4. To keep the masque soft and comfortable during drying process, apply the Glacial Mist Spritzer. Reapply multiple times during drying time of 5-8 minutes.
  5. Remove the Masque using a warm damp facecloth, and gently pat dry.
  6. Now apply the Glacial Mist and follow with your chosen moisturizer.

DRY SKIN FACE MASK FORMULA

A variation of the standard face mask formula, specifically designed for users with dry skin.

  1. Use our dry New Zealand Glacial Clay powder, combine 1 tablespoon of powder with 1 tablespoons of water, do not mix.Milk can be added instead of water for added gentle exfoliation.   2. Add half a teaspoon of Olive or Avocado Oil, and 2-3 drops of Rose, Borage, or Sandalwood Essential oil.
  3. Using the NZ Glacial Clay Brush, apply the masque using circular movements, avoiding the eye area.
  4. To keep the masque soft and comfortable during the drying process, apply the Glacial Mist Spritzer. Reapply multiple times during the drying time of 5-8 minutes.
  5. Remove the masque using a warm damp facecloth, and gently pat dry.
  6. Now apply the Glacial Mist Spritzer and follow with your chosen moisturizer.
